The Thinkware F70 Pro records the road ahead at 1080p and 30FPS in a compact, screen-free body that is easy to position behind the mirror. Use the Thinkware Dash Cam Link app over the camera's local 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to aim the camera, review recordings and adjust settings while you are near the vehicle; Bluetooth assists pairing.

This package includes a front camera only. There is no rear or cabin camera and no rear-camera input. The included 12V cigarette-lighter cable covers normal driving use; parking modes need a compatible Thinkware hardwiring kit or OBD power cable, sold separately. A 32GB microSD card is included. Understand the parking modes

Motion Detection saves 20-second clips with 10 seconds on each side of a detected motion or impact, so it keeps a pre-event buffer. Time Lapse records at 2FPS. Energy Saving waits for an impact and then records a 20-second clip; it does not preserve footage from before the impact. Choose the mode for the evidence you need rather than assuming every parking mode is buffered.

Super Night Vision brightens parking footage. Smart Parking can switch to impact-only recording in heat, and thermal protection may shut the camera down. The camera's specified operating range is −10°C to 60°C (14°F to 140°F); it is not guaranteed to keep recording in all heat conditions. Configure battery protection and the off timer for your vehicle; available power and conditions determine runtime.

Storage and important recordings

The F70 Pro supports 16, 32, 64 and 128GB microSD cards, and the listed package includes a 32GB card with adapter. Continuous recording saves driving clips to the memory card. An impact triggers a separate 20-second event file with 10 seconds before and after detection. Briefly pressing REC saves a one-minute manual clip: 10 seconds before the press and 50 seconds after it.

Use a supported card, back up important recordings and turn the camera off before removing it. Export important files promptly so they remain available, and copy recordings elsewhere before formatting or changing recording settings.

Phone access and alerts

The camera's Wi-Fi is for a nearby phone connection, with no cellular service or remote Cloud viewing; the GPS accessory does not turn the camera into a live vehicle tracker. Configure settings while parked and check that recording resumes afterward, since it pauses during configuration.

With the optional GPS antenna, keep the regional safety-camera database current using Thinkware's downloads. Alert coverage depends on the database and GPS reception; it does not identify every camera or replace following road signs.

Setup and firmware notes

Set up the camera through the Dash Cam Link app while parked. Recording pauses during configuration, so check that it resumes afterward. Check the current app-store requirements for your phone.
