BlackVue DR770X-2CH Series II Full HD Front & Rear Cloud Dash Cam

Full HD in both directions, ready for remote Cloud access.

The BlackVue DR770X-2CH Series II records the road ahead at 1080p and 60FPS and traffic behind at 1080p and 30FPS. Both cameras use Sony STARVIS sensors, and built-in GPS adds speed and location to your footage. Use the BlackVue app nearby, or connect the camera to BlackVue Cloud through a Wi-Fi hotspot or the optional LTE module for remote checks.

This package includes front and rear cameras with the rear connection cable. There is no cabin camera. A hardwiring cable, a USB-C power cable with vehicle adapter, a microSD card and a 2-year manufacturer warranty are included. Cloud features need internet at the vehicle and a BlackVue account. The CM100G LTE module and a dash cam battery pack are sold separately.

Cloud access and what it needs

Remote Cloud features need camera power, an internet connection at the vehicle, a BlackVue account and the right service settings. The camera has no built-in LTE modem. Use a suitable Wi-Fi hotspot that stays in the vehicle, or the optional CM100G LTE module with an activated SIM and data plan. A phone that leaves with you cannot keep a parked camera online.

Local microSD recording and nearby app access work without a Cloud subscription or data plan. Feature availability and usage limits depend on the Cloud plan you choose.

Parking recording and power

The included hardwiring cable connects to constant power, ignition power and ground. The camera then switches to parking mode when the ignition turns off. Set the voltage cutoff and parking timer in the app to protect your battery. Parking duration varies with battery condition, temperature and settings.

The USB-C power cable and vehicle adapter are for driving-only setups; BlackVue's installation guide says USB-C power does not support parking mode. The supercapacitor only supports safe shutdown, not extended recording. Both camera streams share the memory card, so plan storage accordingly.

Setup notes

Mount and aim both cameras before finalizing the wiring, then check the live view and an original recording on your phone. Remove the protective films and keep the cameras ventilated; they can shut down in excessive heat. The touch sensor can be set to save a manual event.
