Record the road ahead and behind in 4K with the BlackVue ELITE 10 2CH dash cam. Both cameras use Sony STARVIS 2 sensors and record at 30 frames per second, with front-camera HDR to balance bright and dark areas. Built-in GPS, nearby Wi-Fi access and optional remote Cloud connectivity give you several ways to review your drive.

This is the front-and-rear road recording kit, not the ELITE 10 CABIN. The secondary cameras are model-specific and cannot be swapped between those kits. A 64GB microSD card and hardwiring cable are included; LTE hardware and service are not.

Why choose the BlackVue ELITE 10?

  • Dual 4K road coverage: Front and rear cameras each record 3840 × 2160 at 30FPS through a 146° diagonal lens. HDR is available on the front camera only.
  • Sony STARVIS 2 sensors in both cameras: Dual IMX678 sensors support detailed day and night recording. Lighting, motion and distance still affect visible detail.
  • Parking modes to suit your priorities: Choose low-power impact standby, buffered Motion Detection or a continuous 1FPS Time Lapse overview with an appropriate parking-power connection.
  • Convenient nearby access: Dual-band Wi-Fi supports phone live view, settings and downloads, with Bluetooth-assisted pairing and no cellular subscription needed for local access.
  • Optional remote Cloud access: Add a suitable internet connection and service setup to access supported remote features. LTE is not built in.
  • Location and event information: Built-in GPS/GLONASS and a G-sensor support location recording and driving-event tags. A touch sensor starts manual recording.

Parking recording: power and limitations

Parking recording requires the included hardwiring cable or a compatible battery connection. The supplied USB-C cable and vehicle adapter provide driving power only. An optional BlackVue B-130A battery can supply parking power separately from the starter battery.

  • Power Saving: Standby draw is below 1mA / 12mW at 12V. Recording starts within about two seconds after an impact, with no pre-impact buffer. Active recording and connected accessories use additional power.
  • Motion Detection: Supports a 10-second pre-event buffer to capture the lead-up to an event.
  • Time Lapse: Records a continuous 1FPS overview instead of impact-only standby.

Motion Detection and Time Lapse use more power than Power Saving standby. Set the configurable voltage cutoff and 1–48-hour parking timer for your vehicle. Runtime depends on battery capacity, temperature, mode, events and cutoff settings; extended parking coverage is not guaranteed.

Wi-Fi and remote Cloud access

Nearby Wi-Fi access and remote Cloud access are different. Remote features require internet at the camera, a BlackVue account and the applicable service setup. Use a suitable hotspot or an optional regional CM100G LTE module with a compatible SIM and data service. Optional hardware, data and paid Cloud plans are separate.

Ongoing remote access requires a continuously powered recording mode. Power Saving sleeps between impacts and is not suitable for continuous remote access.

Storage and saving important footage

The included 64GB microSD card holds about two hours of dual-camera footage at the default High setting. Compatible BlackVue microSD cards up to 1TB are supported, but a 1TB card is not included. BlackVue estimates 34 hours 20 minutes at that capacity and setting; actual retention varies with bitrate, settings and parking activity.

Loop recording replaces older footage. Up to 50 event files can be protected from ordinary overwrite, but formatting erases all files, including protected events. Export and back up important original clips to another device. H.265 supports the highest front-camera bitrate; H.264 offers a playback-compatibility option. Test a downloaded clip on your phone or computer before choosing.

Installation and setup notes

Position both cameras for a clear view and route the rear-camera cable without obstructing the driver's view or crossing rear defroster lines where possible. Follow the exact model's installation instructions for power connections and vehicle-appropriate fuse selection. After installation, check the recording indicator and play back a saved front and rear clip before relying on the system. Adjust event sensitivity for your vehicle.

The optional CPL-2 front filter can reduce dashboard reflections but may darken low-light footage. Extreme heat may stop recording to protect the camera; the operating range ends at 65°C, even though thermal cutoff is approximately 75°C.
