Vehicle fit and installation

Designed for compatible 12V vehicle applications operating within DC 12–14V. Check the available mounting space, hood-switch location, cable routing, and electrical system before purchase. Fit is not guaranteed for every car, SUV, truck, pickup, or off-road vehicle.

The supplier's wiring guide specifies connecting the red wire to battery positive, mounting the automatic switch in a suitable metal location with a hole, and connecting the black wire to that switch. The adhesive backing attaches the strip beneath the hood. These are an overview, not a complete vehicle-specific installation procedure.

Have installation completed by a qualified automotive electrical installer if you are unsure. Confirm proper circuit protection, switch grounding, and clearance from heat, moving components, and the closing hood before use.
