The Vulcan replaces your vehicle's headrest with a matching headrest that has a steel lock box built inside. It has the largest interior of the three Headrest Safe models we carry and is made for trucks and SUVs and also suited to cars, so you can keep valuables secured and out of sight right where you sit.

Choose your vehicle style when ordering: the Left-Hand Drive option installs on the US passenger seat, so the door faces the driver, and the Right-Hand Drive option installs on the US driver seat.

Each set includes two matching headrests: one Headrest Safe and one matching companion headrest, so both front seats look the same.

Key features

• Three ways to open: the lock opens with your fingerprint (biometric), a keypad code or a hard key, and has a USB port for backup power.
• Heavy steel build: 18-gauge steel safe with a 16-gauge steel door.
• Locks into the seat: the locking post prevents unauthorized removal of the headrest.
• Hidden in plain sight: covered in leatherette or cloth to look like a standard headrest.
• Safety tested: the manufacturer states the Vulcan is safety tested to FMVSS 202a, the US headrest standard.

Fit and installation

• Replaces the factory headrest on most vehicles with a two-post headrest system; the adjustable posts adjust to any width headrest.
• Remove the factory headrest, slide the posts into the seat guides, and the locking post holds the headrest in the seat so it cannot be pulled out without unlocking it.

Warranty

The Headrest Safe Co. backs the set with a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser in the US. Register the product with the manufacturer to activate it. Damage from misuse or improper installation is not covered.
