Elastic Dog Car Seat Belt Tether – Single or 2-Pack

A bungee seat belt tether that keeps your dog in place.

This dog car seat belt tether connects your dog's harness to the car's seat belt buckle. An elastic bungee section takes up slack and softens sudden pulls, and the strap adjusts from about 20 to 33 in (50 to 84cm).

Reflective stitching along the strap adds visibility in low light, and a swivel snap hook helps reduce twisting.

Choose one tether, or a 2-pack in the same color. Clip the tether to a well-fitted harness, not a neck collar. This tether has not been crash tested, and no load rating is published, so treat it as a way to limit movement, not as crash protection.

Setup notes

Insert the buckle clip into a rear seat belt receptacle until it clicks, attach the snap hook to the back D-ring of a harness, then shorten the strap so your dog can sit and lie down but cannot reach the front seats.

Check that the clip fits your car's buckle before each trip and inspect the strap for wear.
