OEM-style dash cam that plugs into your Volvo's own power socket

Made for the Volvo EX30 (single and dual motor) and the EX40, this dash cam takes power from the car's original plug, so there's no wiring to run. The 4K front camera records at 3840 × 2160 with a 170° field of view, and HDR helps balance bright skies and backlit scenes.

Choose front-only or front-and-rear at checkout. The "Front: 4K + 64GB" option has no rear camera; the two-camera options add a 1080p rear camera. A microSD card is included in the size named in your option (64GB or 128GB). Parking monitoring is not turned on by default; see How to add parking monitoring below.

Storage and recording

The camera records to a microSD card from 16GB to 128GB, saving video as MP4 or TS files. A card is included with every option, sized as shown in the option name. For two-camera recording or 4K, a larger card holds more footage before loop recording overwrites it.

Parking monitoring and power

The camera draws about 180 to 220 mA while recording and 5 to 7 mA on standby. Without parking monitoring, the camera records while the car is on.

How to add parking monitoring

Parking monitoring is arranged with EVSTITAN, the maker of this dash cam, after you order:

1. Place your order and choose your Volvo model and camera option as usual.
2. Right after ordering, email us at info@mycarstuff.shop or use our contact page. Include your order number, your Volvo model (EX30 Single Motor, EX30 Dual Motor or EX40) and the words "parking monitoring."
3. We'll pass your request to EVSTITAN and email you to confirm once it's arranged.

Setup notes

Confirm your exact Volvo model and motor version before ordering, since each option is made for that vehicle. After installing, connect the app to check the camera angle, format the microSD card in the camera, and record a short test drive to confirm the front (and rear, if included) video saves correctly. Keep the camera clear of the driver's view and any windshield sensors.
